We only specialise in tree consulting – that’s why we are Perth’s Premium
Qualified Tree Protection and New Tree Planting Specialist (AS 4970-2009) and a Certified Tree Health and Structural Integrity Experts with a QTRA Tree Risk Assessment Licence No. 2726.
At Arborology WA our customers are very important, our prices are reasonable and our report turnover is very quick.
We dare say, that our report turnover is the fastest in the industry. The time between the site inspection and you receiving your report can be as little as 36 to 48 hours; and we DO NOT CHARGE YOU EXTRA for this premium service.

Phil and any contractors at Arborology WA have up to date Police Clearances and Working With Children Checks.
Phil the Principal Arboricultural Consultant also has a
QTRA Licence No. 2726, Construction White Card and is fully COVID 19 and influenza vaccinated (July 2024).

Phillip Matthews (Phil) is the Principal Arboricultural Consultant at Arborology WA and has become a well-recognised Tree Protection, New Tree Planting, Tree Health and Structural Integrity Expert within the Perth metropolitan area and throughout regional Western Australia.
Phil has numerous qualifications including an AQF Level 5 Diploma Horticulture (Arboriculture), with a B. Min, Grad Dip Min and an AQF Level 9 Master of Arts.
Phil has worked in the arboricultural and horticultural profession for over 30 years in Perth. He has worked closely with Local and State Government Departments (DOC, DOD, DOE, AFP), Developers, Builders, Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Environmental and Ecological Consultants, Real Estate Consultants, Insurance Companies, Real Estate Property Managers, Golf Course Superintendents, School/ College, University property managers and Retirement Village Managers.
His work has ranged from providing expert tree inspections for private landowners to managing trees on major multimillion-dollar housing developments and infrastructure projects (including, the Elizabeth Quay Project, Stock Road, Lakelands, Dragonfly Boulevard, Mandurah, Wollaston Avenue, Haynes, Ellersdale Avenue, Warwick and the Town Of Port Hedland Sports Hub).
His work has often involved providing advice concerning trees that have preservation orders for their significance to the local landscape and tree protection for their importance in the Urban Forrest.
